According to VNPT, with permission from the Ministry of Education and Training, it is expected that in the near future, VNPT will trial the smart education solution with NTT (Japan) at some primary schools in Vietnam.

According to VNPT, with the desire to contribute to the execution of the project “Enhancing the application of IT in management and support of teaching – learning activities, scientific research; to contribute to improving the quality of education and training in the period of 2016 – 2020 with vision to 2025” approved by the Prime Minister on January 25, 2017 in Decision 117, the group has recently cooperated with NTT Vietnam (a subsidiary of NTT East) to bring Smart Education solution to Vietnam.

Smart education system of NTT East is one of the highly appreciated systems and is being applied by many Japanese schools to serve the teaching.
After more than a month of preparation, on May 26, 2017, VNPT and NTT Vietnam officially opened the Smart Education Exhibition at Panasonic Risupia Gallery, Sunrise Building, 90 Tran Thai Tong, Cau Giay, Ha Noi. The exhibition will be open free of charge every Tuesday and Wednesday from now until the end of June 30, 2017.

The solution consists of 5 systems: system and content for classes; school management systems; system and content for self-study; modern educational IT tools – application for coding; system for support staff .

In which, NTT Vietnam will provide solutions and contents related to teaching and learning activities; while VNPT will provide the school management system, the IT support staff system.

Emphasizing the ability to support schools in using IT tools is an extremely important and decisive factor in the implementation of IT in education, VNPT commits, with branches covering 63 provinces and cities nationwide, to districts and communes, the group will support schools 24/7 in both organizing training sessions, designing teaching materials as well as manipulating about IT.

In particular, according to VNPT, authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training, it is expected that in the near future, VNPT and NTT will jointly trial the smart education solution mentioned above at some primary schools, in which all terminals for teaching activities such as tablets, interactive boards as well as learning content will be provided free of charge.
