OCG offers free Goocus solution to support teachers and students during Covid-19 pandemic

The current complicated developments of COVID-19 has led to months-long school closure that affects teachers and students in carrying out their study plans. In order to relieve these difficulties, OCG decides to provide Goocus – the Japanese educational application – for free.

Goocus is a smart learning solution developed by Castalia Company from Japan – the country known for its leading education system worldwide. Documents including lectures, exercises, or examinations in any format such as docx, PDF files or videos could be stored on Goocus’s cloud system.

In the wake of the COVID-19 that has a negative impact on the education field, OCG Company decides to provide free Goocus subscriptions for all schools and educational institutions nationwide until the end of 2019-2020 school year, in order to encourage more teachers and students to experience the solution.

Each student will be given an user account to study anytime, anywhere on any device such as smartphone, tablet or PC. More specifically, Goocus also allows students to grade and make self-assessment of their performances so that they can make appropriate adjustments to their study plans.

Possessing outstanding features, Goocus offers a different experience from traditional teaching and learning methods. Lessons are no longer confined to the scope of the physical classroom. Goocus is also implementing the solution successfully at Dai Nam University, GoToJapan Japanese Language Training Center, Terakoya and so on.

Free provision of Goocus services until the end of the 2019-2020 school year shall bring about uninterrupted teaching and learning, which is a practical deed that OCG Company brings to the community during the epidemic.
