On May 23, 2022, OCG Technology in collaboration with VNPT Binh Phuoc and Vinaphone Corporation organized a visit to the model of Smart Education at Archimedes School (Dong Anh-Hanoi) for the delegation of Binh Phuoc province.

In the delegation were leaders of Binh Phuoc Department of Education, Department of Information and Communications and leaders of Dong Xoai City People’s Committee, along with teachers and principals of preschools, primary and secondary schools in the province.

In the trend of globalization, there is an inevitable need for digital transformation in all fields, and education is the field that needs to be upgraded in order to narrow the gap between cities and provinces. Along with the process of digital transformation in teaching and learning methods, the SmartEdu solution was introduced by VNPT this time as the first stepping stone to bring 4.0 education to Binh Phuoc province.

Digital transformation in teaching-learning and assessment is the digitization of materials (e-textbooks, electronic lectures, multiple-choice question banks), digital libraries; the transition of teaching methods, classroom management techniques, and interaction with students into digital space, utilizing information technology to organize teaching in an innovative way, reducing workload for teachers and enhance active learning for students.

Attending the class using SmartEdu solution for 5th graders at Archimedes school, the delegation from Binh Phuoc province clearly noticed the dynamics, excitement, and independence of students in the class. Instead of passively teaching and taking notes as before, teachers and students can exchange ideas with each other enthusiastically but still ensure the management of students and the quality of lessons.

In the VNPT SmartEdu solution, teachers will use smart interactive boards, and students will use iPads to learn, replacing traditional notebooks and chalkboards.

Through this field visit, leaders of Binh Phuoc Department of Education and Training also affirmed that they will continue to learn under the advice of VNPT Binh Phuoc so that the model of VNPT SmartEdu can soon be put to test in the province at Dong Xoai city. OCG Technology, as a partner of the solution together with VNPT Binh Phuoc, hopes that the solution will partly bring in the digital transformation of education and practical application of information technology in Binh Phuoc province.
